On 29 April 2010, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a Resolution on Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Still, many governments of the EU states do not promote their anti-discrimination laws and protection that they have to provide. Discrimination towards LGBTQ population continues. In this short film you can see specialists’ opinions on transgender and transsexual rights that need to be obtained : Charlotte Rivero, founder of queertango school, Tangoverkstan in Stockholm, biologist Evelyn Peyre from CNRS institute (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), famous lawyer Stephen Whittle, transexual person himself, an active member of the United Kingdom TransActivist organisation Press for Change, who is also a professor of Equalities Law in the School of Law at Manchester Metropolitan University and Max Nisol, psychologist, active member of the Genres Pluriels from Brussels.
